Cola, Chocolate Yoghurt Dip

Cola Chocolate Yoghurt Dip ~ Delicious for dipping fruit and cookies #Dip #FruitDip #ColaDip

A Great dip for fruit and cookies !  I tried something new today, which I knew I have to share with you.

We have just entered our second month of Summer and it is HOT ! This was really nice, we normally do not have cookies with our fruit dips ... this was a first as well. I would not use sandwiched cookies {Oreos etc} with this dip because I think there might just be too many different flavors clashing.

I had pieces of Apple, Brown Grapes, Green Grapes, Pineapple, Litchi, Cantaloupe and even a small piece of Orange on the platter, together with some shortbread, wafers and Nutty Crust biscuits.

***Tip; keep a spoon close by because once the fruit and cookies are gone, you will want to eat the remaining dip as is - and it is a little difficult with the tiny forks we used !***

Cola, Chocolate Yoghurt Dip

2 TB Coca-Cola
1 TB Brown Sugar
30g Milk Chocolate, broken into small pieces
1 cup Plain Yoghurt

1.) Heat the Coca-Cola and the Brown Sugar in a small pot {or in the microwave, using a microwave-safe bowl} until the Sugar is melted and very hot - add the Chocolate and stir until melted - cool for about 5 minutes.
2.) Add the Yoghurt to the Chocolate mixture and stir until smooth - transfer to a serving bowl and chill until ready to serve.

Enjoy !

  1. This sounds yummy and like it would be perfect for warmer weather! Heck, I wouldn't even need the fruit, just a spoon ;)

  2. Another winner! I love the idea of the cola in the dip. Do you think Diet Coke would work?
