Bar-One & Caramel Krispie Clusters

Bar-One Chocolate + Caramel = Heaven! Oh, yes, and the Rice Krispies... What a great combination !

I decided to make something for tonight, with Rice Krispies, yesterday already and put together this idea in my head.

Therefore, when I received an e-mail from my sweet cousin, Erica, this morning, I was quite surprised... It was a whole bunch of recipes using Bar-One Chocolates! Even though, we haven't seen each other for a few years {but we stay in contact via Facebook and e-Mail}, it sometimes feel we are "mind-connected" with certain things !

I already bought all the ingredients for my treats yesterday, so I stuck to my original idea, but the recipes Erica had sent me sure looks delicious, and I was tempted to change tonight's sweet treat !  In the end, I downloaded her e-mail for future reference, so you can expect to see more of Bar-One goodies soon ;-)

Here we go:

Bar-One & Caramel Krispie Clusters

3 cups Rice Krispies
3 (55g each) Bar-One Chocolate Bars, chopped
100g Butter
200g Soft Caramel Candies,
White Chocolate - to drizzle over

1.) Line a 20 x 20cm baking dish with baking paper {no baking - but best to use here}
2.) Place the Rice Krispies in a large mixing bowl.
3.) Melt the chopped Bar-One chocolates together with the Butter - stir well - add this to the Rice Krispies and mix.
4.) Press the Rice Krispie mixture into the lined baking dish - even out with the back of a spoon - chill until set.
5.) Melt the Caramel Candy - spread over the Rice Krispies - chill another 10 minutes.
6.) Remove from refrigerator - break into chunks {or slice - I did both to get different shapes}
7.) Drizzle the melted White Chocolate over - chill 5 - 10 minutes until set.

Enjoy!
