Strawberry Gin and Tonic

Strawberry Gin and Tonic is one of Summer’s favorite cocktails ! The fresh Strawberries add just that bit of sweetness without overpowering the Gin and Tonic’s signature taste.

This Strawberry and Gin Tonic recipe came about after I had seen an advertisement for Beefeater Gin (not affiliated).

Perfect I thought, there is a Strawberry flavored gin as well !

I might have lived under a rock for a while (years?), but am glad I am catching up. If you know the Beefeater range and especially the Strawberry flavored gin, you will know it is not an overpowering Strawberry taste, but rather only a hint.

Which is just fine, some days I like a more delicate Strawberry Gin Cocktail, and other days the fully loaded version as per this recipe.

Strawberry Gin And Tonic

Not sure about you, but I am a sipper, swirler type of Cocktail drinker. Meaning I would even crush in the Mint, meant for garnishing mainly, and I just love the addition of Mint in the flavor.

And the more stirring, the more the fresh Strawberry taste !

No need for any fancy bar tools in this recipe, besides maybe a proper gin Copa glass (Copa de Balon, to be precise) . And even then you can use a plain glass which holds approximately the same quanity.

Ingredients for Strawberry Gin And Tonic

Can’t find a good Strawberry juice ? No worries, you can use a Strawberry Syrup as well, however, do use less as Syrup is much more concentrated and sweet than Juice.
