Pineapple and Jalapeno Salsa

Pineapple and Jalapeno Salsa is super kid friendly and so versatile ~ serve with hotdogs, sausage rolls, burgers or even as a refreshing small side salad.

Pineapple and Jalapeno Salsa

I make this Pineapple and Jalapeno Salsa regularly. It is most delicious on a sausage roll (Boerewors Rolls here in South-Africa) or with burgers and hotdogs.

The Salsa also makes a delicious side salad and kids love it, as it is not strong, unless you use the Strong Jalapenos, which I, myself do not prefer.

This is also one of those recipes where you can play around with the ingredients. Use more of one ingredient, less of another or leave out something you really do not like.

Besides the time spend chopping and dicing, this is another quick and easy side or topping.

I always serve it on the side.  Or in one large bowl and let everyone scoop as much or as little as they like onto whatever we are having.

I never use Salt and Pepper on mine and therefore always leave it out, but hubby likes to add a bit of Black Pepper to his.

Pineapple and Jalapeno Salsa

The Pineapple and Jalapeno Salsa do not like to stand too long, as the Cilantro and greens of the Spring Onion wilt after 2 or 3 hours.

Sounds refreshing! I'm thinking my husband would probably replace the jalapenos with the most spiciest he could find!
