Elves’ Cookie and Candy Jars ~ Every Elf needs his own stash of sweet treats and these tiny jars are adorable ! Perfect kids craft .. and they will love to see what the Elf was up to when they weren’t looking !
I mentioned recently that I am on a kind of miniature-everything spree, and it is the same with these totally adorable Elves’ Cookie and Candy Jars ! And a perfect little craft for the kids to make themselves.
Elves’s Cookie And Candy Jars
I found these tiny cookie jar look-alike plastic gum holders and immediately thought of an Elf having his own stash of sweet treats. See the arrow? It points to where the little containers have an actual indentation – just like a real cookie jar !
After I removed some of the gum balls from a couple of the small containers, I filled them with mini marshmallows and mini cookies (which I still needed to break in half to fit into the jars). I left some with the gum balls as is.
To finish off, I added a tiny pom-pom to the lid of each little jar. The labels definitely did not want to budge easily and I am already not that great with working with little teeny-tiny things.
I covered some up with small red dot stickers and the rest I colored in with a metallic Sharpie – last but not least, I wrote each treat’s name on the stickers.
Are these not just too adorable for words ?! Love them and I so much love the Elf and whatever he gets up to when everyone is sleeping 😉
