Salads, especially the meaty ones, make delicious light dinners during the warmer months. And usually with only a dinner roll or two served with the Salad.
Most Salads are used as side dishes to either a cooked main meal or a BBQ / braai / cookout. And I am particularly fond of any kind of salad with fruit as an ingredient.
