Quick Crust Hawaiian Chicken Pizza

Quick Crust Hawaiian Chicken Pizza ~ Quickest, homemade crust ~ NO kneading with a delicious topping #QuickCrust #Pizza

I love quick recipes as long as it is delicious as well. This pizza took less than an hour, from making the crust to eating !

Some people like soft crusts, others prefer crusty - same with thickness, some like it thick, others prefer thin based crusts. Our family likes the in between - not too soft/thick and not too crusty/thin.

This pizza crust is exactly as we like it and the recipe is enough for two standard pizzas.  You can of course, use whatever toppings you prefer, but this Hawaiian Chicken version of mine is delicious and I'd love for you to try it.

I'm also not one for a saucy pizza, I prefer the juices {meat/cheese/vegs/fruit} of the toppings to make the pizza and not a thick sauce.

QUICK CRUST HAWAIIAN CHICKEN PIZZA

{yields 2 standard size pizzas}

CRUST:

3 cups Self-Raising Flour
1/2 t Salt
1 cup Milk
1/3 cup Oil   { I use Sunflower Oil }

TOPPING:

2 TB Olive Oil
2 Chicken Fillets
2 TB Chicken Spices
4 TB Good Quality Tomato Sauce
1 can (400g) Pineapple pieces, drained
2 cups Mozzarella Cheese, grated
1/2 cup Spring Onions, chopped

1.) Pre-heat the oven to 200 deg C (400 deg F} - spray two standard size pizza pans with cooking oil.
2.) Mix the Flour and Salt - add the Milk and Oil - mix and knead until a firm dough has formed - divide dough in half and roll out each half on a floured base to form a circle about the size of your pan - transfer to the pans and bake for 10 minutes.
3.) Meanwhile, heat the Olive Oil in a medium pan - add the Chicken fillets and sprinkle over the Chicken Spices on all sides - cook until done - shred the cooked Fillets and keep aside.
4.) Remove the half-baked pizza crusts from the oven - spread the Tomato Sauce over - followed by the shredded Chicken - add the Pineapple pieces to the pizzas - sprinkle over the Mozzarella Cheese and Spring Onions {keep some of the Spring Onions to garnish before serving}
5.) Place back into the oven and bake another 10 - 15 minutes until the Cheese has melted and the crust is fully baked.

Garnish with extra Spring Onions and serve immediately.

Hope you enjoy this delicious and quick pizza recipe !
