Wine Glass Charm & Napkin Ring Set

Perfect for Valentine's Day !  I made this set earlier today and it took me less than 30 minutes to make both. Whilst busy with this, my mind was racing towards some kind of jewelry for Valentines ... We'll see, I have a hundred few more projects in line for Valentine's Day, and this time I am going to try and stick to start at the top of the list working down!

I am also busy with another project involving some plastic bottles {not Valentine related though, but I think one or two of them might just cut it into the Valentine line}

These are the 4 {yes, only FOUR} items I used for the Charm and the Ring - no fancy tools needed, mostly because I still don't have any and make do with my hands !

Beading Wire - I use 0.4mm
Silver Heart Charms
Silver Beads {think they are called spacers?}
Rhinestones - with a hole on the top and the bottom

The Wine Glass Charm

Cut a length of Beading Wire approximately 20cm {8 inches} and thread through one heart Charm, bending over a small piece of wire as shown above

Thread a Silver bead through BOTH pieces of wire to create a sealed loop

Add another Silver bead followed by a Red Rhinestone {notice the wire runs on the backside of the stone}

The front of the Rhinestone - see, no wire

Add another two Silver beads and one more Red Rhinestone - end by adding 3 silver beads and twist the wire backwards as above {always make sure it is not too tightly threaded - it must still have a little bend to it}

Twist the wire between the 2 last Silver beads

End by cutting off the excess wire, making sure there are no sharp points

Fold around the stem of the glass - it will stay in place

The Napkin Ring

Use a 20cm {8 inch} piece of Beading Wire - find the center and make a small dent - slip a Silver charm through - let this hang in the dent

Add 3 Silver beads to each side of the Charm

Add a Red Rhinestone {same method as with the Wine Glass Charm - wire along the back}

Add another 5 Silver beads to each side and end the loop by tying a knot with the two pieces of Beading Wire {make sure there is still a bit of bend in the ring - to make it easier to slip over your Napkin}

Cut off any excess Beading Wire {making sure again that there are no sharp pieces left}

Slip over your Napkin

Now, you have an idea for your glass and napkin which looks great as a set !
