Peppermint Crisp Chocolate Squares

Peppermint and the holidays go hand in hand, don't you think?

I found this recipe in our supermarket's Magazine and wanted to make it is soon as possible. Firstly, it looked totally delicious and secondly... yep, you guessed right!  and EASY / QUICK - my two favorite words when it comes to cooking/baking {and this is a no cook - no bake ! }

Chocolate. Peppermint. Sweet.   Here we go:

Peppermint Crisp Chocolate Squares (about 30 squares)

200g Butter
150g Peppermint Crisp chocolate, chopped, divided
2 Eggs, beaten
2 1/2 cups Icing Sugar
200ml (80g) Cocoa Powder
1 1/2 packets (300g) Marie biscuits, broken into pieces

1.) Melt the Butter until hot - add 100g of the Peppermint Crisp chocolate and stir until melted.
2.) Add the Eggs and beat until well mixed - sift together the Icing Sugar and Cocoa Powder and add to the chocolate mixture - beat until smooth.
3.) Add the Marie biscuit pieces and stir until all is well combined - press into a 20 x 20cm dish.
4.) Sprinkle the remaining Peppermint Crisp chocolate over and chill until set.

Cut into squares and serve.

I am sure this will become a family favorite - hope you will try the recipe and enjoy it as much as we did.

Ciao for now,

Linking up with these cool parties:

  1. They sound delish, too many treats to try! Thanks for sharing on Super Sweet Saturday.

  2. How divine, we don't get anything remotely as good as peppermint crisp here, After eights only peppermint choccie here, any idea what else I could substitute it with?
Thanks for sharing on Tutorial Thursday - got my vote :)
