Crunchy Green Salad


With A Blast: Crunchy Green Salad   #salads  #greens


This is my go-to salad when I need a side dish which is not too rich or when I need some color on the plate.

I love serving my food in certain ways and color plays a big roll.  With this salad you also get the crunchiness and the flavors compliment one another beautifully.

What you need :   {quantities are up to you, add more or less of any of the ingredients }

Crisp Lettuce, torn in pieces
Small Onion, sliced or diced
English Cucumber, sliced and halved
Celery, sliced into small half-rings
Parsley, chopped finely

Any Greek or French Salad dressing  { I always use "Lite" }

OPTIONAL ADDITIONS: Nuts / Green Apple   

I make this shortly before we eat and it is so quick, it should not be a problem to fit in between your cooking. 

A quick post - but thought I will share my simple and easy salad .... and did I mention healthy?? Have as much as you want without any guilty feelings afterwards {whink}
