Garlic and Sweet Chili Shrimp ~ Delicious Appetizer, ready in under 15 minutes, or serve with rice for a light dinner #Appetizer #ShrimpRecipe #LightDinner

Best thing about appetizers (or snacks!) are the quickness most dishes are to prepare. There is a lot of Garlic in this Garlic and Sweet Chili Shrimp and garlic lovers always go crazy when I serve this dish.

We normally have this kind of dish as a snack while hubby and I catch up on our recorded television series’. But I also serve it as an appetizer quite frequently.

Back to the quick bit – snacks ? Don’t know about you, but I get these sudden snack attacks ! You know, out of the blue you have a craving for something and if it is for Shrimp – this recipe is perfect.

As far as appetizers go – well, it has to be delicious (of course!).  I also do not want to spend more time preparing and cooking the appetizer than the main meal.

There is also no need for a dipping sauce with the Shrimp as it is already bursting with flavor and all you really need is a light lemon drizzle.

One more thing when I serve very garlicky dishes – I always leave sprigs of Parsley, to chew on afterwards, in a small bowl nearby as it takes care of a bad garlic breath. Not 100%, but it sure helps a little !

  6. It is pretty difficult to manage to cook with shrimp out here in Arizona, since I know that nothing is fresh. I grew up in Massachusetts, so I was really spoiled with having fresh seafood. Anytime I have seafood out here in the desert I am really taking a risk, but seeing posts like yours really make me miss incorporating shrimp into my menu each week!
