Cheesecake Smoothie

Cheesecake Smoothie   - Best of both worlds !    #smoothies #drinks #cheesecake

We love cheesecake and we are huge fans of smoothies - combine the two into one extraordinary treat and it's heaven on earth !

I used Frozen Blueberries in today's recipe, but as with a cheesecake, you can really make it any flavor you like. One thing, however, with Smoothies, I prefer to use frozen fruits. The drink either gets no ice, or very little added to it.  Even if no ice is required, the frozen fruit helps to thicken the drink as well.

The amount of Sugar is of course always a debate - some like it sweet, others not.  I am an in between kind of person.  I'll leave it up to you to decide about the Sugar  {but I am putting my preference in the recipe ;-) }

CHEESECAKE SMOOTHIE

Makes 1 liter

2 cups Milk
1 cup Frozen Fruit, if large, chopped into smaller pieces   {I used Blueberry today}
125 g Cream Cheese, cubed
1/2 cup Caster Sugar
3/4 cup Vanilla Frozen Yoghurt
Sweetened Whipped Cream, to serve
Biscuit Crumbs. to serve    {I used #Bakers Tennis biscuit crumbs}

1.) Place the Milk, Fruit, Cream Cheese, Caster Sugar and Frozen Yoghurt in a blender - blitz for a minute, open and stir - blitz another 2 minutes.
2.) Pour into tall serving glasses - top with Whipped Cream and sprinkle with the Biscuit Crumbs.

Serve immediately and enjoy !

Till later,
