10 Minute Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 cup Caster Sugar
  • 1 1/2 TB Baking Powder
  • 1/2 t Salt
  • 3 TB Cocoa Powder
  • 1 cup Warm Water {not boiling}
  • 1 t Vanilla
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 90g White Chocolate
  • 1 - 2 TB Fresh Cream {double cream/whipping cream}
  • Turkish Delight pieces, to decorate {optional}
  • Sprinkles, to decorate {optional}
Directions
  1. Spray a large microwavable ringpan with cooking oil.
  2. Mix the Flour, Caster Sugar, Baking Powder and Salt.
  3. In a small bowl mix the Cocoa Powder and the Warm Water - stir until smooth - add the Vanilla, Eggs and Oil.
  4. Add the Cocoa mixture to the Flour mixture - beat until smooth.
  5. Pour into the prepared microwavable bowl - microwave on HIGH for 5 - 7 minutes {depending on your microwave strength} 
  6. When ready the cake should well risen and moist on top - let stand to cool in the pan.
  7. Meanwhile make the topping - melt the White Chocolate and the Cream together - stir until smooth.
  8. Remove cake from the pan and place on a serving plate - drizzle the melted White Chocolate/Cream over and decorate with Turkish Delight and Sprinkles {if using}
