Glass Candle Holder Arrangement

This is a small arrangement which I normally place on a small side table or anywhere which is usually neglected when we do our Christmas decorating.

We are not too big into decorating for holidays, but Christmas is a very special holiday and then I like to do something extra.

Glitter is not really my thing, but let me tell you ... when I hear the first Christmas Carole - all I see is glitter and blinking lights !

In the following picture you can see I like glitter but not overly so:

The white arrows point to where I used a glitter glue-pen, which only lets out enough glitter to my liking.  The black arrow points to where I used gold craft paint to emphasize the rims of the glasses. {I bought these 2 glasses for next to nothing at our local charity shop}

This is some of what I have used here:

Glitter glue-pen in gold
Gift-box tree ornaments
2 Glasses
2 Scented Candles
Green Glass Sand
Tape

I know my taping skills need some work but I taped the glasses, used the glitter glue-pen to fill in the open spaces and when it was dry, I removed the tape.  Next I used Gold craft paint around the rims of the glasses. I poured some Glass sand into the glasses and added the candles.

After adding some Gift-box tree ornaments and another Christmas decorating piece, I was set.  Now, I only have to decide where I want to put some Christmas accents to ... I have a couple of dull looking areas, so I might have to make some more !

If you are not too heavily into glitter, try using a glitter glue-pen - if it really is too little, you can always add more glitter by just sprinkling some over the already wet glue.

Ciao for now,
