Heat the Butter in a small pan – saute the Onion until soft – add the Brown Sugar – cook another minute or two, until caramelized
Cook the Patties in which ever way you prefer – indoors I use my George Foreman grill or we use the outdoors grill (you can also pan-fry or oven bake them)
Fry, bake the Bacon – oven bake at 200 deg C (400 deg F) for about 10 – 15 minutes, or pan-fry
Cook the Eggs sunny-side-up to your preference ( I like the yolks soft and the white well done ) – season with Salt and Pepper
Start building the Breakfast Burgers : slice of Tomato onto the bottom half of the toasted Muffin – caramelized Onions, Pattie, slice of Gouda Cheese, Bacon, Egg and Muffin top half

TIP: Keep the Onions and Patties warm after cooking – whilst the Bacon is being baked or fried, cook the Eggs – build the Burgers when the Eggs are ready if you do them in batches
