Valentine Centerpiece

I thought I will do one more Valentine craft, why, ... because I wanted something easy to do and have all the supplies needed.

Now, this I decided, this morning - I made a cute chocolate involved craft/sweet treat {yeah, I do not really want to tell you what it is, yet, .. until I have made a new one!}Anyway, said chocolate thingy came out beautifully, but as I took it over to the counter to photograph, I dropped half of it, shattered, no way to fix that.

So, of course, after being so careful making it, then dropping my masterpiece, I made this nice, easy Valentine's Centerpiece, which really took almost no brain activity at all! Just what I needed ...

This is what you need:

Knitting Yarn {I had some left from my Valentine Wreath
An Ice-Cream Cone
Clear Adhesive
Paper Hearts - 5 on the cone and 3 glued together for the top

Start of by applying glue to the Ice-Cream Cone - I did only a few lines top to bottom

Wrap the Knitting Yarn around the glued Cone {This is the best shot I got from 100's a lot of photos, which shows you how beautiful the yarn really is - with shiny tips here and there}

Bend the 5 Paper Hearts slightly and add a dot of glue to the back - stick randomly on the covered cone

Glue the 3-glued-together Paper Hearts to the top of the Cone

I placed mine on a crystal candle holder

Done!

Ciao for now,

  3. That's a cute idea and clever using the cone - those foam ones can become quite pricey!
