½cupWater
8Taco Tortilla Boats
1cupSour Cream
1cupChunky Salsafreshly made or store-bought
1cupCheddar Cheesegrated
1cupMozzarella Cheesegrated
2Avocadosmashed - flavored or plain
1Red Onionsliced
2Jalapenossliced
1can410 grams Black Beans, ( 14 oz can )
1cupLettuceshredded
1Limecut into chunks or sliced
Instructions
Heat the Olive Oil in a saucepan and cook the Ground Beef until done
Add the Taco Seasoning and Water - cook until almost all the liquid has evaporated
Add the can of Mexican Style-tomatoes and cook over low heat for 5 minutes - keep warm
Start to assemble your Taco Tortilla Board as follows
Place the warm (or cold) Tortilla Boats on a platter (can be any shape but large enough to hold all the ingredients) - Sour Cream, Salsa (warm or cold), Guacamole, Black Beans (also warm or cold) and Lettuce in small bowls - place on the outer side of your platter
Combine the Cheddar and Mozzarella and add to the board
Fill any gaps with the sliced Jalapeno, Red Onion and Lime chunks/slices
Serve the warm Ground Beef in a larger bowl, placed in the center of the platter
Let each person built their own Taco Tortilla Boats
