Dijon Mustard

Deli Ham
it should be enough for a double layer if sliced thinly

Cheddar Cheese

Instructions
Pre-heat the oven to 200 deg C (400 deg F) – line a baking sheet with baking paper
Heat the Olive Oil in a medium pan – saute the Onion and Red Bell pepper until soft – keep aside
Place 1 sheet of Puff-Pastry on the prepared baking sheet – spread the Mustard over the Puff Pastry already on the baking sheet
Arrange the Ham slices over the Mustard {leaving a small border all round (see photo in post)
Sprinkle the Cheddar cheese over and scoop the Onion/Pepper mixture over the cheese
Finally place the second sheet of Puff Pastry over the filling – pinch all sides closed using your fingers – make sure it is well sealed
Brush with the beaten Egg – bake for 30 – 40 minutes until puffed and golden brown
Remove from the oven and let cool 5 minutes before slicing into servings
