Pre-heat the oven to 180 deg C (350 deg F) – spray a medium loaf pan with cooking spray and line the bottom
Mix the Flour, Cocoa, Salt, Baking Powder and Baking Soda in a medium mixing bowl
Beat the Butter and Caster Sugar until creamy – add the Eggs one by one, beating in between additions – beat in the Flour mixture and the Buttermilk until well combined – pour into the prepared loaf pan
Bake 20 minutes – remove from the oven – sprinkle the Chocolate Chips over and return to the oven – bake a further 30 – 35 minutes or until a tester comes out clean
Remove from oven – cool in pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes – turn the bread out and cool completely or serve slightly warm
BUTTER: Melt the Chocolate Chips for the spread – add the Butter and the Honey – mix well
