1Jar Spaghetti Sauceyour favorite ~ about 1 1/2 cups
250gSpaghetti8 oz
500gRicotta Cheese16 oz
1cupSour Cream
1 ½tItalian Seasoning
1tGarlic Powder
½cupCheddar Cheesegrated
Parsleyto garnish
Instructions
1.) Pre-heat the oven to 180 deg C (350 deg F) – spray a 20 x 30cm (9 x 13 inch) oven dish with cooking oil
2.) Heat the Olive Oil in a medium skillet – add the Ground Beef and 1/2 t Salt – cook until the meat is done – add the Spaghetti Sauce, stir through and set aside
3.) Cook the Spaghetti as per the instructions on the packet – drain and return to the saucepan
4.) Stir in the Ricotta Cheese, Sour Cream, Italian Seasoning, Garlic Powder and the remaining 1/2 t Salt – mix well
5.) Layer as follows in the prepared oven dish – half of the Meat / all the Spaghetti / remaining half of the Meat mixture – top with the Cheddar Cheese
6.) Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake 45 minutes
7.) Remove the aluminum foil and bake a further 5 – 10 minutes
8.) Garnish with Parsley and serve
