Decadent Chili Chocolate Brownies ~ These Chili Infused, gooey Chocolate Brownies have a spicy bite to them and make the perfect Valentines Day treat ( or any other day ! ).

Ingredients
  • 250 g Dark Chocolate good eating quality, broken ( 8 oz )
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1/2 cup Chili Infused Avocado Oil
  • 1 TB Instant Coffee Granules/Powder
  • 1 t Vanilla Essence
  • 2 Extra-Large Eggs
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 1/4 cup Flour
  • 1/4 t Salt ( omit if using salted Butter )
  • 1 cup Pecan Nuts roughly chopped
Instructions
  1. Pre-heat the oven to 160 deg C (325 deg F) – line a 20 x 30cm oven dish with baking paper
  2. Place the Chocolate, Butter, Oil and Coffee in a medium saucepan – heat on low, stir until the Chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth – remove from the heat – stir in the Vanilla and let cool 5 minutes
  3. Beat together the Eggs and Sugar until thick and foamy – beat into the Chocolate mixture
  4. Fold in the Flour, Salt {if using} and the Pecan Nuts until just mixed – transfer to the prepared oven dish and bake 20 – 25 minutes until the edges are firm, but the center is still slightly soft
