Layered Breakfast Berry Smoothie ~ Delicious, healthy booster for breakfast and so easy to make too ! All year round recipe.

We might not be the biggest breakfast eating family around, but we all love a smoothie, especially one which gives a boost as well.

This layered breakfast Berry Smoothie has a banana layer at the bottom and a mixed berry layer on top. Try to use as much as possible frozen fruits in smoothies to add that extra chill.

My daughter usually spends the weekends at home and leaves Sunday mid morning. A Smoothie is the ideal breakfast when you need something delicious and nutritious.

And, besides, I always feel better when my kids have something in their stomachs before leaving the house.

This recipe can be made anytime of the year as frozen Berries are used. Not only can you enjoy these layered breakfast Berry Smoothies throughout the year, but as I mentioned above frozen is better to use in smoothies.

Do make sure though to check the label on the frozen types of berries (or any other fruit), as there might be added sugar as an ingredient. The smoothie will then lose some of the healthy goodness it is meant to have.
