10 Minute Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 cup Caster Sugar
- 1 1/2 TB Baking Powder
- 1/2 t Salt
- 3 TB Cocoa Powder
- 1 cup Warm Water {not boiling}
- 1 t Vanilla
- 2 Eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
- 90g White Chocolate
- 1 – 2 TB Fresh Cream {double cream/whipping cream}
- Turkish Delight pieces, to decorate {optional}
- Sprinkles, to decorate {optional}
Directions
- Spray a large microwavable ringpan with cooking oil.
- Mix the Flour, Caster Sugar, Baking Powder and Salt.
- In a small bowl mix the Cocoa Powder and the Warm Water – stir until smooth – add the Vanilla, Eggs and Oil.
- Add the Cocoa mixture to the Flour mixture – beat until smooth.
- Pour into the prepared microwavable bowl – microwave on HIGH for 5 – 7 minutes {depending on your microwave strength}
- When ready the cake should well risen and moist on top – let stand to cool in the pan.
- Meanwhile make the topping – melt the White Chocolate and the Cream together – stir until smooth.
- Remove cake from the pan and place on a serving plate – drizzle the melted White Chocolate/Cream over and decorate with Turkish Delight and Sprinkles {if using}
