This is the perfect drink for the kids on Halloween, especially if they are big on Orange Juice. The Jack-O-Lantern Slimy Slush is quick and easy to make, as you only let the Jello set three quarters of the way.

When I am in a hurry, I always use just enough boiling water to dissolve the Jello in and then top it up with ice.

Stir until the ice has melted and the setting will start within minutes of being in the refrigerator.

Above you can see how I made two small slits in the slice of Orange and then pushed through the strip of Lime Rind (this is the supposed lid and handle of Jack’s Lantern 😉  ).

Not all the pieces of Orange slices fits 100%, but seeing as the Orange mixture is quite thick, it stays in place on top.

I had mini lollipops and some edible ink pens – played around a bit. Actually a nice activity for the kids to draw all kinds of faces on either mini-, or standard size lollipops !

And I do love my little rubber bats during Halloween and they always tend to show up everywhere a week before and even a week after Halloween.

All in all, this is a great kids activity – they can make the Slush themselves (with a little of your help).

Decorate the cups, and draw some faces on lollipops if you have any available (using edible ink pens of course).

ps: for an adult version, you can always add some Vodka or Rum – – just saying !
