Raspberries with Chocolate Yoghurt Mousse

Raspberries with Chocolate Yoghurt Mousse ~ Enjoy a Chocolate Mousse without any guilt ! #ChocolateMousse #LowFatRecipe #HealthyRecipe

Eating healthy does not mean the end of desserts ! Whether you want to lose a few kilograms, or simply start eating a little more healthy, you can still enjoy your food.

Some years ago, I had to lose weight as I was grossly overweight, and because I was following the Weigh-Less diet program after I had my kids, I knew the basic good and bad foods.

To be honest I prefer healthy food, the taste of each ingredient is not hidden with an overload of stuff not good for you. This recipe for raspberries with Chocolate Yoghurt Mousse , is no different.

The mousse definitely needs at least 30 - 45 minutes of chilling time in order for the mousse to set a little, but also for the Cocoa and the Yoghurt to bind into a creamy chocolate taste.

I know it must sound a little confusing, but if you make this, taste the mousse right after you mixed it all, and then again after chilling for a while - huge difference, but ever so delicious ! Dimitri even had two helpings, and that alone is saying a lot ;-)

RASPBERRIES WITH CHOCOLATE YOGHURT MOUSSE

4 Servings   {can easily be doubled}

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups Fat-Free Plain Yoghurt
1/4 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
A Little hot Water
4 TB Honey
1 cup Fresh Raspberries

DIRECTIONS:

1.) Place the Yoghurt in a medium size mixing bowl.
2.) In a small mixing bowl, mix together the Cocoa Powder and just enough Hot Water to make a paste {add little by little Water, otherwise the mousse will turn out too runny}
3.) Add the Cocoa and the Honey to the Yoghurt - beat on high for 1 minute.
4.) Transfer mousse to serving glasses/bowls and chill for 30 - 45 minutes.
5.) Top with Raspberries and serve.

  2. Sometimes when I crave ice cream, I top yogurt with honey and nuts as a more healthy alternative. I never thought to mix cocoa into yogurt. Thanks for the idea--chocolate is my preference when it comes to dessert!
