Ginger Ale (Sugar-Free)

Ginger Ale (Sugar-Free) is a concentrated syrup. Quick, easy and delicious on a hot Summer’s day – just add Soda or Sparkling Water!

Ginger Ale (Sugar-Free)

So, the other day I shared with you how to Re-Cycle a Vinegar Bottle and I promised to tell what I have filled it with.

Delicious, and oh so refreshing Ginger Ale which is also Sugar-Free ! Now, that is a recipe worth the wait, don’t you think?

I made some Sparkling Mint Lemonade recently, and just afterwards, my son asked when am I going to make some Ginger Ale.

Ginger Ale (Sugar-Free)

Well, on that same day I was doing my usual rounds on the internet (also known as stalking!).

And found this recipe on one of our local magazine’s digital recipe sites. I took it to be a sign, as I have not seen a Ginger Ale recipe for ages, and immediately got everything together to whip up a batch.

Ginger Ale (Sugar-Free)

I actually made two batches, mine and my daughter’s: Sugar-Free ! And instead of using Stevia, I used 4 cups of Sugar to make a batch for hubby and and my son.

To me, both taste the same, but, yes, they can apparently taste the difference between real sugar and Stevia. Which is also a natural, organic sweetener, but try telling them that!

When you say stevia , is it pure white stevia powder or a proprietary brand with additions,

John, you can use any powder (with or without additions, although I prefer the NuNaturals NuStevia White Stevia Powder)

Hello, I just found you. Thrilled. Going to try the ginger ale recipe soon. I was wondering if you'd done a root beer recipe. I'm on my phone and don't see a search engine. I tried looking through several sub catagories but my hands are swollen so it started to hurt. If you haven't created a root beer recipe I hope you will soon. This page is fantastic. I'm not a great cook. I'm disabled and been put on a very restricted diet. Gluten free, which takes all my comfort foods away. My husband has Ulcerative Colitis. I want us both eating healthy but enjoying it. I'm going to be gathering recipes to try on days I can be on my feet. I've seen so many that look like we will love eating them. Thank you for putting up this blog. I'm going to share it with my in laws. My husband's mom is an avid crafter, gardener and her husband loves to experiment with new meals all the time. My husband's step mom is a baker. Boy she's good. We attack her deserts and try to bring them home at the holidays. But she also likes discovering new meal ideas. This is definitely going to make dinner much more exciting.

I am glad you enjoy reading With A Blast ! I am not sure what root beer is and also do not think it is available in South-Africa but I hope you found some other drink recipes to try :-) (replying here as your e-mail is not attached to your comment)
