Chocolate Caramel, Cookies & Yoghurt Jars

Chocolate Caramel Cookie and Yoghurt Jars ~ Jars filled with cookies, chocolate, caramel and more ! #DessertInAJar #Desserts

These small jars are filled with total delight !  Cookies, Chocolate, Caramel, Yoghurt and more ..

Have you ever found yourself craving for more than one, two or even three things at the same time? Well, I do {often!} and on this specific day every single ingredient in this recipe was what I wanted ~~~ what to do?  I can not really enjoy each on it's own, never mind finishing one, to start with another.

I sat down, listed exactly everything I was in the mood for, and there and then, this recipe took shape. Aaanndd, it was enjoyed by everyone ! I thought Dimitri might have felt that the Yoghurt was a little out of place, but he actually mentioned that the sweetness of the chocolate and the slightly sour Yoghurt went well together,,, well, I never, he might still have something against PB in some {all!} dessert treats, but he can still surprise me with all the new challenges I throw at my family ;-)

  • 1 1/2 cups Cookies, roughly chopped {I used Tennis biscuits}
  • 1 1/2 cups Caramel Flavored Yoghurt
  • 200g Caramel Biscotti Chocolate, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup Whipped Cream, lightly sweetened
  • 8 t Caramel Topping {I used #Nestle Treat}
  • Sprinkles, optional
  1. Divide the ingredients into 8 equal portions.
  2. Start with a layer of Cookies - spoon the Yoghurt over - top with 3/4 of the chopped Caramel Biscotti Chocolate.
  3. Pipe or spoon the Whipped Cream over and add a teaspoon of Caramel Topping to each dessert.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining chopped Chocolate over and end with Sprinkles.
  5. Chill at least 2 hours in order for the Cookies to somewhat absorb the Yoghurt {it won't absorb much, but that is part of the delight - the bottom crunchyness}.

  1. Sounds good to me, love anything with caramel, also I'm with Dimitri PB is weird for a dessert. My kids won't even eat it.

  2. Oh my! This looks pretty good to me and since it's yogurt, that means I can have it for breakfast right??!!

  3. Yummy dessert! Hope you are having a great day and thank you so much for sharing with Full Plate Thursday!

  6. I love anything served in jars. Your jars don't look like typical mason jars though, where did you get them? Thanks for sharing on the weekend re-Treat link party!

  7. Me too ! I only recently started to serve desserts in small jars :-) We actually do not have Mason Jars, ours is called Consol Jars {the factory is 2 minutes away from me!} but the jars which I used here, I got from a chain store in SA - PEP Stores.
