Bacon Wrapped Beans

There are loads of recipes for Bacon Wrapped Beans around, but I am sharing my way today. We eat this as a side to almost any meal.

The Bacon is crispy and the Beans are just charred and slightly soft. A bundle of this looks great on a plate and it is delicious {and did I mention QUICK!} ..

Bacon Wrapped Beans

{makes 12 bundles}

500g Green Beans, washed and ends cut off
12 strips Streaky Bacon
2 TB Avocado Oil {or Olive Oil}
2 TB Butter
Freshly Ground Black Pepper, to taste
Aromat or Fondor, to taste

1.) Use 4 - 5 Greenbeans - wrap a strip of Bacon around and keep in place with a toothpick.
2.) Heat the Oil and Butter in a large pan - fry the bean bundles until slightly charred and the Bacon is crispy - sprinkle with Black Pepper whilst frying.
3.) Remove from pan, arrange on a serving plate and season with Aromat or Fondor {Remember to remove the toothpicks before serving!}

Such an easy and quick side dish !
