Twigs Doorhanger

Twigs Doorhanger ~ Inexpensive, quick and easy, beautiful decoration for your doors #Christmas www.WithABlast.net

This was so easy and quick to make and I love the outcome!

I first had this against a dark brown door, but everything except the gold ribbon on the top seemed to disappear.. ugh, I thought it would bring some color TO the door. Anyhow, it looks lovely against a white door.

I gathered some twigs which were lying outside, broke them to more or less the same size and tide the lot with a rubber band {a fairly thick and strong band}.

After that I glued a Christmas bow over the rubber band - to hide it - added a golden ribbon to hang it from... and the door hanger was done!

I got the idea from Better Homes and Gardens but made mine slightly different.

A quick idea which you can use on any door inside or outside your home.

  18. I *really* like this. I have a bunch of willow twigs and will have to try one maybe with an "every day" embellishment for after the holidays.
