Butter Caramel Apple

Butter Caramel Apple ~ Apples simmered in Butter and Brown Sugar ~ delicious ! And ready in a few minutes #AppleDessert #AppleRecipe #CaramelApple
Anything Caramel ... I love! Especially Butter Caramel. I had seen a recipe for Butter Caramel Tea a week or so ago, but can not find it.

Instead, I made this as dessert tonight, which turned out very good. This time, Cheri had a problem with this totally delicious dish! I've only just known my child for almost 19 years and this is the first I hear that she does not like warm apples...Whatever..., we enjoyed it and now there is an extra serving - maybe everyone will forget about it and I can have it for breakfast.

My kitchen smelled heavenly !!

Butter Caramel Apple

125g Salted Butter
1 cup Muscovado Brown Sugar
1 cup Fresh Cream
6 Apples, any of the sweet variety will do, peeled, cored and sliced
1 t Ground Cinnamon
Almond Splinters for decorating

1.) Melt the Butter over medium heat - add the Brown Sugar and simmer until golden brown and bubbling.
2.) Add the Fresh Cream to the Butter and Sugar mixture - heat, whilst stirring all the time, until warm - add the Apple slices as well as the Ground Cinnamon and simmer for 10 - 15 minutes (depending on how soft you want your apples) stir every few minutes.

Just simmering ... I'm drooling over the smell...

3.) When the apples are ready, serve using a slotted spoon, add ice-cream and drizzle the Butter Caramel sauce over ! (Decorate with Almond if using)

That is all !  Done in under 25 minutes...
